Maggie Stuckey

Since 1969, Sesame Street has been asking us, "Who are the people in your neighborhood?" (And raise your hand if you were desperate to live in Mister Roger’s neighborhood.) So, what makes a neighborhood great? What makes it stand out? What makes it memorable? My answer is the people. Join me as we draw back the curtains on my neighborhood and meet some of the people who make it extraordinary.

Maggie maintains that breakfast is critical, Nebrasketball is worth her time and no TV show will ever be better than "Lost" (no, it wasn't all a dream—come on now). She has spent the recent years of her life choosing outdoors over indoors, pouring over political blogs, traveling repeatedly to warmer climates, walking her rescued Australian Shepherd, volunteering, tweeting, voting, wondering why she didn’t become a school teacher, planting trees and secretly writing children's books that she dream of publishing someday. From 8 to 5, you can find her at the University of Nebraska Foundation raising private support for Nebraska's incredible four-campus university.
