Volunteer With Ignite Lincoln
Ignite Lincoln can’t get off the ground without volunteers. We are looking for reliable, dedicated people who are committed to organizing this event from collecting sponsors to collecting tickets.
Volunteers will have fun, be active in their community, interact with lots of cool and interesting people, and, best of all, get two tickets automatically reserved for the night of the event.
Over the course of four to six months, a volunteer would help with some of the following activities:
- Meeting regularly to track progress and clear upomming obstacles.
- Organizing sponsorship packages, and discussing sponsorship opportunities with potential local businesses.
- Speaking with potential venues to host the event.
- Seeking out and reviewing speaker submissions and deciding which talks are good enough to make the cut.
- Managing the various multimedia aspects of the event; for example, arranging a videographer.
- Speaking with local media, hanging posters, posting online, and other publicity efforts.
- Putting your talents to use as needed to help the cause.
