The art of effective communication has evolved with humans. Do our changing methods of communication indicate that we’re getting smarter or...not so much? There's something we can do to be sure Lincoln stays smarter and becomes more so.
Phil Whitmarsh arrived in Lincoln in 9th grade. His upbringing by politically-aware and -active parents caused him to want to work for a peaceful and sustainable planet. Phil graduated with a Poli Sci degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Soviet and Eastern European Politics and Government. (Now called a history degree.) He created a marketing niche, developing a way to help national nonprofit organizations get their public services announcements on video releases of hit movies. His projects have saved rain forests, re-planted burned forests and even helped Free Willy all the way back to Iceland. A changing political climate caused a career move to storytelling...publishing, to be exact. Phil has helped several thousand writers publish their own books: novels, nonfiction, poetry, children’s books and cookbooks. Phil enjoys helping people share their stories. He's even published his own book on how to indie-publish.
